Luxaflex ComfortScreen® functional solar shading can be mounted on all kinds of architectural constructions.
Depending on the width, the height and the suitable type of roller tube, the brackets can be used for wall and
ceiling mounting. Heights of up to 7 meters pose no problem. The roller tube and operating mechanism can be
hidden in a headbox, behind an aluminium fascia panel or in an existing cove. Because of the versatile
bracket, the distance between the window and the cover can be adjusted.
The system is operated by means of a crank, motor or ball chain mechanism. In the case of manual use, a prestrained spring allows for a smooth and easy operation, even for blinds of large dimensions. Motor operation is
performed by switch, by radio control, individually and/or in group.
The special shape of the round bottom bar enables maximum roll up around the tube in the elevated position, so that only a minimum builtin space is required. Cable guiding can also be provided, fixed at the top to the mounting bracket and at the bottom to a stainless steel cable bracket.
For maximum efficiency, Hunter Douglas's fibreglass fabrics are a must. They have excellent thermal characteristics
and perform very well to control light levels and avoid glare. Systems with opaque fabrics for dimming or blackout
is extra feature, but most fabrics can be used, depending on the client’s preference.
